Games are art.
All art is political.
Those who ignore the status quo, endorse it.

Truth in Fiction

We make games that reflect the world, not obscure it.

Infinite Citadel produces TTRPG content that spans all genres, particularly fantasy, sci-fi, and horror. These genres, like all art, have something to say about the real world we live in. They reflect on our history, cultures, and the real people that create them. As such our content will also reflect the deep wounds caused by racist, sexist, classist, and queerphobic violence that too often defines our reality.

Infinite Citadel is committed to fighting normative violence, fascism, colonialism, and white supremacy in all of its forms. We’re committed to rejecting the capitalist structure and its abusive outlook on humanity in relation to work, productivity, and ownership. We also recognize that the world we live in is often incompatible with that ideal. Wherever possible, we shall strive to exemplify the way we wish things could be while still caring for people that must live in the world as it is.

We aggressively and vocally oppose racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, nationalism, ethnocentrism, religious fundamentalism, and oppressive, coercive power structures of all kinds. When these elements appear in our works, it is to present these evils as we see them and offer gamers an opportunity to oppose them through the safety of play.

We strive to use our platform to offer connection, solidarity, and support with marginalized folks - people of color, trans, non-binary, queer, disabled, women, and people living at the intersections of these identities - and to give back to our communities, local and abroad.

For Humans, By Humans

The art and writing on this site and in our books are all produced by humans. Programmatically generated content - often simplified to AI content - is a poor imitation of human creativity built from mass-theft. The harms of AI are real and ongoing. It is a technology deeply rooted in capitalism and the devaluing of labor. It is the epitome of the "move fast and break things" culture that the technocracy has demanded - lacking transparency and accountability. The environmental impact of AI's demand for computing resources, larger carbon footprints, and consumption of natural resources is staggering.
